Mark Richard breakdown assistance, provided by RAC offers a comprehensive breakdown service. RAC with its 1,500 branded patrol force, ensures your total motoring peace of mind 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

A special feature of this policy is that the cover provided is for the vehicle. This means that any authorised driver as shown on the motor insurance certificate for the insured vehicle is covered.

What do I do if I breakdown?

Simply call the number provided to you and as stated on your policy document. You will be asked for your scheme code, the vehicle make, model, colour and registration number and the precise details of your location. We will do the rest.

The policy provides 3 levels of cover automatically. Roadside, Recovery and At Home so you can be sure of protection if you suffer a vehicle breakdown.

• Vehicle based cover - your car is covered while it is being driven by you or any authorised driver.
• Provides assistance at the Roadside. Roadside One telephone call will bring assistance at the roadside if you breakdown. We will provide a fast and dependable service to get you going again. If the vehicle cannot be repaired at the roadside, a tow to the local garage will be supplied.
• If your vehicle cannot be fixed at the roadside, we will recover you and your vehicle to any destination of your choice within the UK mainland. Recovery If your vehicle cannot be repaired on the spot, we will take the vehicle and up to eight people, to any destination in mainland Britain in one uninterrupted journey.
• Provides assistance if your car will not start while parked outside your home or office. At Home With the "At Home" service you can rely on us to attend breakdowns at your home or office. If the problem can't be fixed, on the spot, a tow to a local garage will be provided.
• High quality service provided by RAC - 24 hours a day 365 days a year.
• One call to our breakdown helpline is all it takes to get your car moving again.
